What you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or related field
• Current NM PED School Psychologist license
• Ability and willingness to travel between schools within the district as assignments require
• Experience with psychoeducational evaluations (approximately 30-40 annually)
• Strong consultative and communication skills
• Dedication to fostering a supportive learning environment

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred throughout the district
• Collaborating with educators and families to develop strategies addressing academic and behavioral needs
• Providing expert consultation on intervention plans, 504 referrals, and special education eligibility determinations
• Delivering clear, insightful written reports and delivering findings effectively to teams
• Supporting implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to professional, ethical, and legal standards
