School Psychologist - Dalzell, SC

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working within K-12 education settings
• Strong knowledge of adolescent development, learning differences, and behavioral interventions
• Effective skills in consultation, case management, and crisis response
• Ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments and write comprehensive reports
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for special education or other services
• Interpret assessment data and participate in eligibility meetings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student intervention and support planning
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation as needed
• Support teachers and staff with strategies to address diverse learner needs
• Partner with families to address concerns and foster student growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal/state regulations
