Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential (or eligibility for appropriate certification)
• Previous experience working with diverse student populations and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to partner with families, support staff, and fellow educators
• Knowledge of current instructional strategies, assistive technology, and behavior management techniques
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to a variety of learning styles and abilities
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to offer comprehensive support
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers, encouraging their involvement in the learning process
• Maintain accurate documentation and stay current on special education best practices
