Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their academic and emotional growth as a School Psychologist in a contract role. This opportunity involves working with middle and high school students across two locations, serving a caseload of 25 or more students. You’ll be an integral member of a collaborative educational team, helping to create environments where students can succeed. With a set schedule of 30 hours per week, you can enjoy balance while making a meaningful impact.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Current certification and licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with middle and high school students.
- Strong understanding of educational and psychological assessment tools.
- Excellent skills in communication, consultation, and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students to determine eligibility for special education services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring psychological support.
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral management techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and social development.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements.
- Serve as a resource for professional development and consult on best practices for student mental health.
