Step into a rewarding role serving students as a part-time School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. In this contract position, you’ll lend your expertise to support a diverse group of about 80 students, collaborating closely with five dedicated case managers to enhance student growth and well-being. Your service will play a crucial role from late August through early June, with flexibility in your two-day-per-week schedule to fit your professional and personal needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive cognitive evaluation testing for students and provide clear, actionable summary reports
  • Partner with case managers, families, and educational staff to design effective support strategies
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to assess students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Participate in evaluation and eligibility meetings, contributing your insights and recommendations
  • Help foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes student confidence and academic success

Desired Background:

  • Valid School Psychologist licensure in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong background in cognitive and psychoeducational assessment
  • Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Exceptional communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • A passion for supporting students with a range of abilities and backgrounds
