School Psychologist - Shiprock, NM

We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist (or Diagnostician) for an onsite contract opportunity working district-wide near Shiprock, NM. This position is ideal for a flexible, dedicated professional who enjoys a varied schedule and delivering comprehensive assessment services across multiple campuses.

Your expertise will help foster a supportive learning environment and improve both academic and behavioral outcomes for K-12 students. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administrators, conducting evaluations and providing valuable consultative services to tailor interventions that support student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Possession of a NM PED School Psychologist License (required)
• Demonstrated ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
• Comfortable traveling between schools within the district for onsite services
• Effective communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
• Experience working in school settings and with average caseloads of 30-40 evaluations preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Consult with educators and families to address academic and behavioral needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized support plans
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance standards
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the district
