Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or equivalent licensure.
  • Experience with comprehensive evaluations for K-12 students.
  • In-depth understanding of IEP processes, special education law, and best practices in assessment.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and re-evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Administer and interpret psychological assessments using a variety of tools and strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports communicating findings to staff and families.
  • Collaborate with evaluation coordinators and other school professionals to ensure coordinated, student-focused services.
  • Participate in eligibility, intervention, and IEP meetings across the district.
  • Offer expert recommendations to support individualized learning needs.
  • Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
