Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services to students to support communication and language development

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language skills

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student's needs

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement effective strategies

  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, or equivalent

  • State of Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist Certification or eligibility

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in school settings or related fields

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must pass background check and fingerprinting

  • Ability to work daytime hours (Day shift)

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to collaborate with school staff and families

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and handle varied caseloads

  • ASHA Certification
