Banquets House Attendant

POSITION SUMMARY:
 Under the general guidance of the Director of Food and Beverage, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests courteously and efficiently according to hotel restaurant, lounge, and banquet standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare beverages for guests in a timely manner and up to hotel standards.
• Ensure consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality
• Exercise good judgments in determining potentially intoxicated guests
• Maintain good coordination while preparing and serving orders quickly
• Interact with guests and patrons
• Ensure all working areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition at all times
• Understand the operational set up and principle of the restaurant or lounge
• Maintain knowledge of all menus within the hotel
• Maintain stock and supplies of the banquet bar

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Two years experience as Banquet Bartender in full service restaurant or hotel is required.
• Customer service experience preferred. 
• Must be minimum age to serve alcohol.
