About this PositionThe Executive Assistant for OSU-CHS to the Vice President for Healthcare Delivery and CEO of the OSU Medical Authority & Trust. This position is primarily responsible for the multiple administrative support functions for the VP including procurement requests, travel, OSU foundation reimbursement requests, calendar maintenance and other communication management. Additionally, this position serves as the assistant secretary to the OSU Medical Authority and is responsible for maintaining the management system OnBoard, maintaining agendas, and meeting minutes of the Authority. As assistant secretary you will also be working with different government agencies when required.
Required Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a high-level administrative support role
- Three (3) to Five (5) years' related experience
- Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
- Valid driver's license
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to function independently and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with and inspire others
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with faculty, administrators and staff
- A proven track record of success in a complex operational setting
- A history of ethical decision making
- A desire to take on new tasks and learn new systems as they arise.
- Experience in higher education or corporate setting
- Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
- Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.
