Position Overview

Micone Staffing Resources is seeking experienced On-Call Banquet Servers to support upscale banquets, corporate functions, special events, and high-level hospitality gatherings.

This is an on-call opportunity designed for experienced servers who are dependable, professional, guest-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment. Shifts are offered based on event schedules and client needs, making this a great option for hospitality professionals looking to supplement their current schedule.

What You'll Do

• Provide polished, attentive food and beverage service during banquets and special events.
• Set up banquet rooms, tables, place settings, beverage stations, and service areas.
• Serve plated meals, beverages, and other food items efficiently and professionally.
• Follow proper banquet service etiquette and established service standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests with professionalism and urgency.
• Clear tables and maintain clean, organized service areas throughout each event.
• Assist banquet captains, culinary teams, and fellow servers to keep events running smoothly.
• Support event breakdown, cleanup, and resetting of banquet spaces.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain a polished and professional demeanor from setup through final breakdown.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 6 months of banquet serving or upscale/high-end restaurant serving experience required.
• Previous experience with plated banquet service strongly preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable taking direction from banquet captains and event leadership.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to safely carry serving trays and perform the physical requirements of banquet service.
• Flexible availability for on-call assignments, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen; THC-friendly.

Professional Appearance Standards

Because these assignments support an upscale hospitality environment, Banquet Servers are expected to maintain a conservative, polished, and professional appearance while working.

• No visible tattoos while on assignment.
• No visible facial or body piercings.
• Gauges are not permitted.
• Hair must be clean, neat, and professionally styled.
• Facial hair must be clean and neatly groomed.
• Nails must be clean, neat, and appropriate for food service.
• Uniforms and clothing must be clean, pressed, and professional.
• Excellent personal hygiene is required.
• Overall presentation must meet the professional standards of an upscale banquet environment.

Schedule & Pay

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: On-Call / As Needed
Location: Reno, Nevada
Tips: This is a non-tipped position; tips and gratuities are not provided.

Shifts are based on scheduled events and business needs. Hours are not guaranteed and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
