We are hiring compassionate, safety-minded NEMT Drivers to provide reliable and respectful Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) for passengers traveling to healthcare appointments and other destinations. This role includes wheelchair transportation and mobility assistance and is ideal for dependable professionals who enjoy helping others.
As a Professional NEMT Driver, you will safely transport passengers while providing courteous, patient, and professional customer service. You'll assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, secure wheelchairs or stretchers, and help ensure passengers travel comfortably and safely.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, courteous, and timely NEMT transportation.
- Transport passengers to healthcare appointments and other destinations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles.
- Secure wheelchairs and stretchers according to training and procedures.
- Follow dispatch instructions using a tablet or iPad; training is provided.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and follow company dress and hygiene standards.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, professionalism, and respect.
- Follow applicable safety, HIPAA, and transportation guidelines.

- Valid U.S. driver's license; Florida license preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift and assist with up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable using technology; tablet/iPad dispatch training is provided.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Calm, patient, reliable, and professional under pressure.
- Age 25–65, required for insurance purposes.
Candidates must be able to pass:
- 10-panel drug screen, including marijuana.
- FBI fingerprint and state background check.
- Pre-hire road test.
- Background screening requirements, including no history of violent or sexual felonies or financial crimes.
The following are preferred but not required:
- CPR Certification
- PASS Certification
- Stretcher/wheelchair securement training
- DOT Physical
- Proof of vaccinations, based on applicable regional guidelines
- Previous healthcare, hospitality, military, or caregiving experience
- Bilingual communication skills
