Food Service Associate - Now Hiring

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Food Service Associate at a private, coeducational college-preparatory school in Holderness, NH.

• Part-time
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability
• Free Meals and Uniform

$250.00 Sign-On Bonus (payable after 90 days of employment)

What the Food Service Associate will do:   

Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude  Help to oversee that catering activities run smoothlyOperate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals while handling exchanges in a quick, efficient manner  Transport food and supplies to the serving area; assist in the set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of dining, food serving, and beverage areas.  Serve and replenish food from food counters and steam tables.  Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly store food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.  Keep dining room areas and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized  Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment throughout and after meal periods  Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of other kitchen areas by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments  Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.  Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
   

What the Food Service Associate will need:   

1-2 years of related food service experience  High School Diploma or Equivalent   Excellent communication, good organizational skills Ability to converse with the faculty, students and staff with easeFlexibility; ability to switch between locations and job duties  ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred.  Reliable Transportation
