Wax Technician

Transitions Medical Care and Spa LLC is seeking an independent Wax Technician to provide professional waxing services onsite in Grundy, VA through this approximately 1-year engagement.

Position Summary

This contract engagement calls for a Wax Technician to deliver safe, high-quality waxing services for clients in an onsite setting in Grundy, VA. Work will focus on preparing clients, performing waxing treatments with care and consistency, and maintaining a clean, professional service environment.

Through this approximately 1-year engagement, the selected professional will help ensure a comfortable client experience by following established safety and sanitation practices, managing supplies appropriately, and communicating effectively throughout each service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform waxing services according to client needs, service standards, and sanitation requirements.

• Prepare clients for treatments, confirm service details, and provide clear aftercare guidance.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area before, during, and after services.

• Use waxing tools and supplies appropriately, including disposal and inventory handling as needed.

• Document service-related information accurately and maintain a professional client interaction throughout the visit.

Required Qualifications

• Experience performing professional waxing services with attention to client comfort and safety.

• Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in a client-facing beauty setting.

• Ability to follow established service procedures and maintain consistent results.

• Strong communication skills and a client-focused, professional demeanor.

• Comfort working onsite in Grundy, VA and completing services on-site as scheduled.
