Senior Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, integration, and execution of electrical power distribution systems for mission-critical modular infrastructure, including data centers, power modules, e-houses, and electrical skids. This position will own project-level electrical design from concept through production, ensuring systems are code-compliant, reliable, manufacturable, and fully integrated.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical design for mission-critical modular infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring layouts, and AC/DC power distribution systems.
- Design and integrate UPS systems, switchgear, transformers, switchboards, panelboards, busway, cable tray, cable bus, BMS, controls, and auxiliary systems.
- Produce detailed electrical layouts and construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and related design tools.
- Perform and review load calculations, protection concepts, equipment selection, and system integration.
- Review vendor submittals and technical data to ensure compliance with project requirements and design intent.
- Support shop drawing reviews, prototype development, and production builds with a focus on constructability and manufacturability.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NEC, NFPA, UL, IEEE, IBC, and IEC standards.
- Partner with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve technical and integration challenges.
- Develop electrical design standards and best practices while providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5–8+ years of electrical engineering experience within critical power systems, modular infrastructure, data centers, or industrial applications.
- Strong experience with UPS systems, switchgear, and power distribution equipment integration.
- Strong understanding of electrical power distribution, protection concepts, and load calculations.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent electrical design software.
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL, and IEEE requirements.
- Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines and supporting integrated system design.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on practical, buildable solutions.
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles preferred.
- Master’s degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering and/or PE license is a plus.
