Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients in a Women’s Care/L&D unit, including infants through geriatric ages as applicable
- Administer medications and IV fluids, including controlled substances, following policy and procedure
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement age-appropriate plans of care, and document patient status and responses
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the health care team; collaborate with physicians and other providers as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized unit; ensure accurate handoffs and timely documentation at shift end
- Demonstrate clinical leadership by delegating tasks under supervision and participating in emergency response when required

Requirements
- Active, current California RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in labor and delivery or women's health setting preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3 nights per week)
- Ability to provide care across the lifespan (infant to geriatric) as appropriate for the unit
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
