The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Finance Manager to work for a financial services firm that provides accounting and HR services to non-profit organizations. This individual will work with clients to ensure data and reporting accuracy and overall financial compliance. This is a terrific opportunity for an individual with a solid payroll or accounting background who is looking to work full time. This is a remote opportunity, but the individual must reside in DC, VA, MD, or NY.
Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
- Verify financial transactions including payroll, GL postings, AP and AR
- Process payroll and collect timesheets
- Retrieve credit card and other transactions for the finance team to reconcile
- Process retirement account contributions
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 5+ years accounting experience, with at least three years at the senior account level or above
- Non-profit experience preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, or Paychex
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Candidates must be located in DC, MD, VA or NY
Compensation:
- $35/hr.
