Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department with potential float to ICU as needed
- Assess, triage, monitor, and manage acutely ill or injured patients; administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory, and support staff to ensure timely patient flow and safe handoffs
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EPIC)
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; educate patients and families as appropriate

Requirements
- Current California Registered Nurse license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current
- At least one year RN experience within the last 24 months with acute critical care experience within the last 12 months, or EMT with ED Tech minimum of 2 years’ experience
- EPIC experience required
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced ED/ICU setting; strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Basic computer skills; MICN within one year of hire is desired; NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged
- Vaccinations required as a condition of employment where applicable (exemptions may apply)
