Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ER patients using established standards and the nursing process
- Triage, assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient status, respond to evolving conditions, and provide emergency interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and other disciplines; supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff as appropriate
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to promote continuity of care and safe transitions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic) and uphold patient safety and quality standards

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in California
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (STABLE) certification required
- Epic experience is required
- Two years of recent ER/acute care experience preferred
- RN role in an ER setting; ability to work night shifts; BSN preferred
- TNCC preferred but not required
