🦾 Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Skilled Nursing Facility

📍 Location: Havre, Montana
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks

We're seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The OT will provide medically prescribed occupational therapy programs focused on improving patients' functional abilities, independence, and quality of life following injury, illness, or loss of function.

✅ Requirements
Active Montana Occupational Therapist License
Minimum 5 years of Occupational Therapy experience
Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care OT experience
Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association-accredited Occupational Therapy program
Required Modality Endorsement in accordance with Montana guidelines
Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach
Ability to work effectively with patients across different ages, genders, cultures, and educational backgrounds
Must meet the facility's 250-mile radius requirement for Montana travelers

🩺 Clinical Experience
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans
Conduct medically prescribed occupational therapy programs
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and quality of life
Address limitations resulting from injury, disease, or loss of body function
Assess patients' ability to perform activities of daily living and functional tasks
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Provide patient and caregiver education
Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately
Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Promote patient safety and independence throughout the rehabilitation process
Follow applicable clinical, regulatory, infection-control, and facility standards
