About Wagenhaus, Inc.

Wagenhaus, Inc. is seeking an experienced European Automotive Technician in Fayetteville, North Carolina, offering $22-$35 per flagged hour. The shop specializes primarily in European vehicles, with additional Asian vehicle work, and has been serving customers since 2007. Technicians work Monday through Friday in a newer, climate-controlled facility with five bays, five lifts and an alignment rack. The family-owned shop also provides paid training, uniforms, Friday lunches, and toolbox relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose drivability, electrical, mechanical, and general repair concerns on primarily European and Asian vehicles.
  • Perform intermediate to advanced automotive diagnostics using shop diagnostic and scan equipment.
  • Complete general automotive repairs ranging from routine maintenance and oil changes to major repairs and engine replacements.
  • Perform digital vehicle inspections and document vehicle condition using the shop’s DVI process.
  • Complete vehicle inspections, maintenance, component removal and replacement, and other assigned repair work.
  • Use diagnostic equipment including Autel, Autologic, DrivePro, Snap-on, and Matco tools as appropriate for assigned work.
  • Work with the shop foreman and technician team when additional technical guidance or assistance is needed.
  • Maintain productivity consistent with an expected workload of approximately 40 flagged hours per week.

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of automotive repair experience working with European and Asian vehicles REQUIRED.
  • European automotive repair experience is required for this position.
  • Intermediate to advanced automotive diagnostic ability, including drivability and electrical diagnostics.
  • Ability to perform general repair, maintenance, inspections, and major mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to perform digital vehicle inspections; candidates without prior DVI experience may be trained on the shop’s process.
  • Experience using automotive scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Must provide the personal tools required to perform assigned automotive repair work.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $22-$35 per flagged hour, based on the applicable technician level.
  • Production bonus begins after 30 flagged hours: $50 at 30 hours, $100 at 40 hours, $150 at 50 hours, continuing in $50 increments for each additional 10 flagged hours.
  • Commission-based percentage incentive on qualifying jobs sold.
  • Weekly pay.
