Automation Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, machinery, and equipment according to blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring instruments to complete assemblies.
• Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and installation of machine components.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, and work orders.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy throughout the production process.
• Troubleshoot and correct assembly issues as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet project deadlines.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous assembly, machine building, manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

This is a Contract position based out of West Chester, OH.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
