About this job
Job Description
We are an established, fast-paced oral surgery practice looking to expand our back-office team! We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, family-like work environment where patient care is our number one priority. If you are a positive, detail-oriented team player who thrives in an efficient environment, we would love to welcome you to our work family.
This is a full-time position split between our two multi-location offices. Because our staff works seamlessly across both locations, reliable personal transportation and a willingness to travel between Denver and Brighton are strict requirements for this role.
Weekly Schedule (Based on Surgical Schedule):
- Monday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM (Denver)
- Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM (Brighton)
- Wednesday: Typically OFF (Note: Schedule may occasionally open from 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM based on patient volume)
- Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM (Brighton)
- Friday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM (Denver)
Core Responsibilities:
- Clinical Assisting: Assist the doctor during surgical procedures, including wisdom teeth removal, implant placements, extractions, biopsies, bone grafts, and expose-and-bond procedures.
- Patient Care: Review health histories, monitor patient vital signs, and provide compassionate care before, during, and after surgery.
- Imaging: Take high-quality periapical, panoramic, and 3D digital and film X-rays.
- Operations & Sterilization: Maintain the sterilization of all surgical instruments, keep surgical rooms fully stocked, and manage surgical supply ordering as needed.
- Cross-Training: Provide minor administrative support to the Office Manager (such as filing or front desk coverage) during peak times or as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous dental experience OR completion of an accredited dental assisting program is required. Prior experience in oral surgery is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right person!
- Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between the Denver and Brighton offices.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, excellent "people skills," a positive attitude, and the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay based on experience level.

Please submit your resume along with your requested hourly compensation rate. We look forward to meeting you!
