Electrical BIM Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities

• Train engineering staff on BIM/Revit software, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and implement BIM/CAD standards, workflows, and efficiencies.
• Maintain and help manage the company’s Revit environment and platforms.
• Coordinate with the BIM Manager and engineering disciplines/client teams.
• Support design teams with BIM implementation and project needs.
• Develop and maintain Revit models and families.
• Research BIM/CAD technology and industry trends.
• Ensure BIM standards are consistently implemented.
• Mentor and train staff on BIM software and processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of post-secondary education or related work experience involving AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design platforms.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
• 5 years of applicable CAD/BIM experience within an Architecture or Engineering firm.
• Experience developing and documenting BIM/CAD workflows and standards.
• Experience overseeing implementation of BIM/CAD standards across an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of directly related experience implementing or managing a CAD/Revit system.
• Experience working with or managing other CAD/BIM professionals in an A/E firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
