Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring current state PT licensure and BLS certification.
Details
- Critical access medical center setting within a 25-bed facility
- Day shift schedule, 7:30 AM-5:30 PM, 4x10 hours per week
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required for those licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent accepted
- 2+ years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
- Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- Active, unrestricted license in the state of submission required
Additional Information
- Plans and conducts treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions
- Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
- Completes evaluations and establishes individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Provides therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and techniques
- Completes comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines
- Supervises assigned physical therapy assistants
- Accepts local candidates with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- Candidates with a prior licensure or certification issue will not be considered
- Required vaccinations are mandatory as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
