Job Description
Daily tasks/duties and department interactions:
- Operate equipment used to manufacture products.
- Assemble, check, and inspect products against departmental procedures.
- Work with oral fluid extraction tubes, assembling components and running products through machines for packaging.
- Perform filling activities using 3 different methods to fill buffer.
- Monitor semi-automated manufacturing and labeling machines.
- Perform labeling, packaging, manual counting, and palletizing activities.
- Handle kit sizes of 25, 100, and 500 kits.
- Manually count products based on required pack sizes.
- Rotate through different manufacturing stations approximately every 2 hours, including:
- Filling
- Labeling
- Packaging
- Palletizing
- Recognize product or equipment problems that arise during the manufacturing process and escalate issues to the Line Lead or Supervisor.
- Follow departmental procedures and manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and follow GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
- Clean up manufacturing equipment and maintain a clean work area.
- Move completed product from one area to another as needed.
- Support overall manufacturing goals and production requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically able to stand for prolonged periods, as this position is not done sitting down.
- Candidate may conduct repetitive movements including push/pull moving of product as needed from assembly area.
- No heavy lifting is required. Area does require occasional bending, stooping, and movement of completed product from one area to another, and ability to clean up the mfg equipment used
for the area. - Will be standing on feet for entire shift so comfortable closed toe shoes are required.
