Job Summary
The CT Technologist position located in the healthcare facility involves providing advanced computed tomography imaging services. The role requires performing a variety of procedures in a fast-paced environment, including ambulatory, outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, and operating room settings. The position supports stroke, trauma, orthopedic, and emergency cases, with the ability to adapt to diverse clinical requirements.

Job Details

  • Certifications and Qualifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification, BLS certification, minimal 1 year of experience required, location-appropriate licensure.
  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, working a rotating schedule of shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Qualifications: Solid CT imaging experience preferred over mammography. Knowledge of using C-arm in surgery for emergent cases. Experience with EMR and PACS systems, specifically EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS.
  • Responsibilities: Conduct imaging procedures including CT scans, X-rays, and intraoperative imaging; assist with emergent cases using radiology equipment; collaborate with radiology RN and director; adhere to safety and operational protocols; work in busy, demanding clinical settings such as ER, outpatient, inpatient, and OR.
  • Additional Information: Can be busy/demanding with a busy ER and clinic; good communication skills and eagerness to learn are attributes that contribute to success. Shifts may include weekends and holidays, with some shifts overnight or extended hours. Orientation period typically lasts one week.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates need to be within 50 miles of the facility and have not worked full-time, part-time, or PRN with associated health systems within the past year. RTO requests must be made upfront; no additional RTO approvals after submission.
