Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist (Xray Technician) Location unspecified. Job Details

  • Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS; experience in emergency department and surgical radiography required; fluoro and O-arm experience preferred.
  • Education Requirements: Valid state license; at least 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Location Requirements: Must hold a compact license if applicable; within 50 miles of the facility.
  • Years of Experience: 0 years minimum, with a preference for candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities include performing a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures, including abdomen decubitus, portable exams, and specialty imaging such as fluoroscopy and O-arm procedures.
  • Additional Requirements: Candidates must have hospital and patient care experience, and be prepared to work overtime or on weekends as required.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates should include a response to whether they have ever worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, travel contractor, or per-diem, including location and dates worked. Two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required prior to start.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
