JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM), Family Medicine (ABFM), Internal Medicine (ABIM), or General Surgery (ABPS)
• Licenses: Active Kentucky medical license, Kentucky DEA
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, or completion of 12-month internship and enrollment in an approved residency program

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures including suturing, splinting, intubation, and central line placement.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, APPs, and support personnel to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Document all patient encounters accurately in the T-sheets EMR system.
• Adhere to facility credentialing, privileging, and compliance requirements.
