JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (AAPS/ABPS accepted)
• Licenses: Active unrestricted NC medical license
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with NC address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (if not ABEM boarded; recommended for all)
• Experience: Recent graduates accepted
• Other Qualifications: CME documentation from last 2 years; Health Status Statement; Case Logs or Activity Verification Form

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 24-hour physician coverage in the Emergency Department.
• Manage patients in a 12-bed ED with 5 fast track beds.
• Work required night shifts.
• Collaborate with NP/PA support staff for 20-24 hours of coverage.
• Perform all privileges as delineated on the Delineation of Privileges (DOP).
