Lab Operations Specialist

Job Title: Lab Operations Specialist – Philadelphia, PA

Location: 3020 Market St, Suite 535, Philadelphia, PA 19104
Work Model: On-site
Contract: 12 Months
Hours: Standard 8-hour shift
Pay Range: $35–$41/hr W2

Responsibilities:

• Manage lab equipment inventory, maintenance, calibration, and certifications.
• Coordinate vendors, repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment installations.
• Monitor cold storage systems and troubleshoot/escalate issues.
• Support lab safety, compliance, supplies, waste management, and emergency planning.
• Coordinate deliveries and work with laboratory, IT, facilities, and external vendors.
• Maintain procedures and ensure efficient, compliant lab operations.

Requirements:

• A.S. or B.S. in Life Sciences or Facilities Management.
• 1+ year of pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences experience.
• 2+ years of R&D facility maintenance/repair program experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
