Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in gas turbine engineering and turbine component design and analysis.
• Proficient in using FEA tools such as ANSYS (Structural).
• Experienced in using NX, APDL, GOM, MATLAB, DARWIN.
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cooled and uncooled turbine mechanical design efforts and be technically responsible for projects.
• Lead development of new and innovative concepts for stress and weight reduction.
• Champion turbine design system continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in engine test activities pertinent to turbine components strength and life validation and qualification.
• Communicate technical results to internal and external customer senior stakeholders.
