Job Description:
Medix is seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to manage protocol-driven patient visits, maintain rigorous clinical trial documentation, and support overall study execution. In this role, you will work closely with Principal Investigators, sponsors, and research teams to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and ethical study management from recruitment through data completion.

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

  • Execute protocol-specified patient visits and procedures, including phlebotomy, IVs, injections, vital signs, and ECG/EKGs as required.
  • Document assessments and study data in accordance with GCP and federal regulations; maintain complete source documentation and accurately complete CRFs/eCRFs via electronic platforms.
  • Obtain informed consent following federal regulations, GCP guidelines, and IRB requirements.
  • Ethically recruit and schedule qualified subjects to meet protocol timelines and enrollment targets.
  • Promptly report Adverse Events (AEs) and report Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) to the sponsor within 24 hours, notifying the PI, Sub-I, and supervisor.
  • Maintain complete accountability and availability of trial materials, including study drugs, lab supplies, and CRFs.
  • Protect patient confidentiality adhering strictly to HIPAA and organizational privacy agreements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Leads, Managers, PIs/Sub-Is, and study teams regarding trial progress.
  • Complete all required ongoing training, attend investigator meetings, and stay current with regulatory updates and policies.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent commensurate clinical research work experience.

Experience: 1+ year of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator preferred.

Certifications/Technical Skills: Experience with phlebotomy, IVs, and EKG/ECG administration is preferred.

Knowledge & Regulations: Clear understanding of ICH, FDA, and GCP regulations, along with working knowledge of medical terminology and lab collection/processing/storage procedures.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with e-source reporting on electronic platforms and proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Competencies: High-level critical thinking, strong attention to detail, high ethical standards, and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

Schedule/ Shift: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (flexibility required based on patient schedules)
