Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Receiving / Forklift Operator (Pipe Handler) to support daily operations across our Receiving, Shipping, Packaging, and Pipe Cell departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, forklift operation, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will play a key role in moving materials, fulfilling customer orders, and ensuring products are accurately received, stored, and shipped.
Key Responsibilities- Operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Unload inbound shipments and containers containing pipe, coil, and related materials.
- Move materials to designated storage and pick locations throughout the facility.
- Pick and prepare customer orders according to work instructions and specifications.
- Load outbound shipments and assist with customer will-call and pickup orders.
- Label, barcode, bundle, and wrap products for storage and shipment.
- Cut pipe to required specifications while properly handling scrap and material identification.
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and ensure products are properly received into inventory.
- Restock pick locations and assist with inventory organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Required:
- At least 1 year of forklift and material handling experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing, and shipping products.
- Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and shipping documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
- Clean, well-maintained, and modern facility located in Bettendorf.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bettendorf, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
