Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- At least 3 years of experience in the mechanical design of integrating components and systems for commercial and military aircraft applications.
- At least 3 years of experience with Siemens NX or similar CAD software.
- At least 3 years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter or similar PLM software.
- At least 3 years of experience using GD&T, including intermediate to advanced knowledge of GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5-2009 or newer.
- Work within and lead multi-discipline design collaboration supporting turbomachinery, heat transfer, and/or environmental control systems design.
- Promote accountability for design standards, methods, and quality across the design team.
- Lead design efforts within the Mechanical Design Engineering team and coordinate with multiple customers to establish priorities.
- Apply working knowledge of component interfaces, GD&T, tolerance analyses, material selection, and manufacturing processes to develop producible designs.
- Advance digital product definition and Digital Engineering within the design team.
