About the Opportunity
We are hiring Radiologic Technologists – X-Ray to provide mobile diagnostic imaging services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient-care locations throughout the community.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Radiologic Technologist who enjoys working independently, traveling to different facilities, and providing quality patient care in a mobile environment.
-> Key Responsibilities
- Perform portable X-rays using digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
- Obtain high-quality, clinically diagnostic X-ray images according to physician orders.
- Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations.
- Transmit completed images to radiologists for interpretation.
- Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
- Complete and scan required exam paperwork and billing documentation.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch and management.
- Maintain professional communication with patients, clients, coworkers, and supervisory staff.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle and X-ray equipment.
- Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Travel to various patient-care facilities as part of the mobile imaging role.
-> Qualifications & Requirements
- ARRT certification – Required
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license – Required
- Limited X-ray license not accepted
- Valid California driver's license in good standing
- Ability to meet all required health and operational requirements
- COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved exemption with appropriate documentation
- Previous mobile X-ray experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage mobile assignments
-> Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Push and pull portable X-ray equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs.
- Frequently transport equipment using vehicle ramps and pulleys.
- Move equipment through healthcare facilities and patient-care environments.
- Perform physical activities involving approximately 50 lbs. of force or more, 16–24 times per day.
