Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, including receiving, inspecting, cleaning, and releasing refrigerated air cargo containers. This role ensures the safe and efficient processing of containers and involves collaboration with internal and external departments to fulfill customer demands. The supervisor will lead a team, manage workflow, address operational issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming containers and prepare outgoing containers for shipment by cleaning, inspecting, charging, and testing.
• Interact with transport company drivers during delivery and release of containers.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and requirements for special instructions are completed.
• Monitor inventory and enter information in inventory systems as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and floor cleaners.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts.
• Move and stack container inventory using forklifts.
• Conduct EH&S and 5S inspections as directed.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in a clean, safe, and functional condition.
• Oversee daily operations and warehouse staff.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
• Train and implement updated and new processes.
• Conduct daily team meetings to review operations.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of warehouse experience
• 1+ year of forklift experience
• 1+ year of leadership experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment
• Experience in aviation industry is a plus

Work Environment

This is a new hub facility focused on manufacturing, repairing, and distributing temperature-controlled air cargo containers. The warehouse is brand new, with only three employees, offering a close-knit team atmosphere. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
