Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a School Social Worker
- Experience planning and implementing interventions in elementary school settings
- Strong communication skills, collaborating with teachers, parents, and community services
- Ability to manage a caseload while maintaining accurate, confidential documentation
- Comfort with providing individual counseling, group sessions, and crisis intervention
Key Responsibilities:
- Address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of elementary students
- Collaborate with educators and administrators to create supportive educational environments
- Develop and facilitate preventative programs and interventions for students facing challenges
- Partner with families to promote positive student outcomes and connect them with resources
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student assessments
- Support crisis management and deliver short-term counseling as needed
