Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote) OR Tempe, AZ (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About the Opportunity


Join a Fortune 500 organization undergoing a major technology transformation. The team is taking ownership of a newly developed Tier 1 enterprise platform that will serve as the central master data hub and support enterprise growth initiatives across multiple business units.


This is a highly visible technical leadership role where you'll act as the primary SME for the platform, helping transition ownership from an external consulting partner while influencing architecture, engineering best practices, and future modernization efforts. Strong advancement potential into Principal Engineer, Architect, or Engineering Leadership positions.


What You'll Do


50% Hands-On Development
Full-stack development using .NET Core/C# and Angular/TypeScript
Build and enhance enterprise-grade cloud applications, APIs, and integrations

20% Architecture & Technical Planning
Partner with enterprise architects on solution design
Drive scalability, modernization initiatives, and technical debt reduction

10% Mentorship
Conduct code reviews
Mentor developers and QA team members
Provide technical leadership and best practices guidance

10% Innovation & Research
Evaluate emerging technologies
Recommend improvements to architecture, tooling, and development processes

Key Responsibilities

Lead development efforts for complex enterprise applications
Own technical onboarding and transition of a vendor-developed Tier 1 platform
Design and deliver scalable cloud-based applications and integrations
Partner with architecture teams on modernization initiatives
Implement observability, monitoring, and operational best practices
Troubleshoot complex production issues and serve as an escalation point
Mentor team members and document technical solutions
Advocate for modern engineering practices and enterprise architecture improvements

Required Qualifications

6-8+ years of software development experience
Strong experience with C# and .NET Core
Strong Angular and TypeScript development experience
Experience designing and supporting scalable cloud-based enterprise applications
Cloud-first mindset with Azure preferred (AWS/GCP backgrounds also considered)
Experience with AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar containerization technologies
Strong SQL Server and relational database experience
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
Excellent communication skills and ability to participate in architecture reviews and technical presentations
