This role supports cleanroom shipping operations by operating production machinery, handling raw materials, performing visual and dimensional inspections, and preparing finished products for shipment. You will work across multiple shifts in a manufacturing environment, ensuring machines run safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards and accurate shipping documentation.
Responsibilities
- Load raw materials into machines in accordance with production requirements and safety guidelines.
- Start or assist with machine cycles, ensuring proper setup and smooth operation throughout each run.
- Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times, and promptly report or correct any deviations.
- Observe equipment and processes closely to detect jams, defects, or unusual behavior and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Conduct visual inspections of parts for defects such as cracks, bubbles, or warping to maintain product quality.
- Measure parts using gauges or hand tools to verify that dimensions meet specifications.
- Sort and separate conforming parts from scrap, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling of rejected materials.
- Trim excess plastic or material from parts to achieve final product standards.
- Assemble small components when needed to complete finished products or subassemblies.
- Assist with changing molds and performing machine changeovers after receiving proper training.
- Clean molds, parts, and work areas to support cleanroom and equipment maintenance standards.
- Package finished products according to instructions, ensuring correct quantities and protection for shipment.
- Label packages accurately using BOL, ERP, and labeling systems to ensure traceability and correct shipping information.
- Organize finished goods in designated areas for shipment, maintaining clear and orderly staging zones.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying incoming and outgoing materials and updating records as required.
- Move materials, products, and supplies using carts or forklifts when needed, following safe material-handling practices.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality targets.
- Follow all cleanroom, safety, and operational procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Essential Skills
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience.
- Experience performing shipping and receiving duties, including handling BOL, ERP, and labeling processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and effectively, in line with facility requirements.
- Hands-on experience with production, assembly, or general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate machines and monitor basic parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times.
- Capability to perform visual inspections and use gauges or hand tools for measuring parts.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to assist with machine cycles, changeovers, and mold-related tasks.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and maintain consistent quality and productivity.
- Willingness to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as scheduled.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using power tools and hand tools in a production or maintenance setting.
- Familiarity with reading or interpreting blueprints or basic technical drawings.
- Experience in packaging operations, including labeling, organizing, and staging products for shipment.
- Comfort working with ERP systems or other digital tools for labeling and shipping documentation.
- Strong attention to detail when inspecting, measuring, and sorting parts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
- Flexibility to assist with different tasks such as assembly, machine operation, and material handling as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
