The role involves assisting in the Cath lab environment, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures with a focus on cardiovascular cases, and working within a fast-paced acute care setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Unit notes include the need for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist skilled in handling STEMI cases independently, with responsibilities ranging from assisting during procedures to potentially supporting in stress testing laboratories.
- Required Qualifications: Certified as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Radiologic Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS), licensed in the state, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in cardiac catheterization lab procedures.
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 9.5-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, with potential call responsibilities.
- Additional Information: Candidates may need to assist with stress laboratory procedures. Scrubs are provided, and orientation includes a new hire program with the lead. The unit operates with a charting system using EPIC, and licensure submissions are required. A minimum of 2 years' experience in the specialty is expected.
