Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Location

Longview, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift (2:00 PM – 2:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with a 4:1 patient ratio (unless in fast track or triage)
• Deliver standard emergency nursing care across a 24-bed department plus 4 hall beds
• Utilize EMR system (MEDHOST) for accurate and timely documentation
• Perform or assist with ultrasound-guided IV placement as needed
• Adhere to department protocols with no call, no floating, and no block scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license to practice in the State of Texas
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of emergency nursing experience
• Familiarity with MEDHOST EMR
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ultrasound-guided IV placement
• Background in high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency settings
