Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights

Location

Lawton, OK | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 13-bed Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Manage a patient assignment in accordance with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care Med-Surg environment
• Comfort working night shift in a fast-paced inpatient setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
