Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | 13-Week Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages
• Deliver newborn care and nursery support in accordance with facility protocols
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout the care continuum

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Experience in Labor, Newborn, Postpartum, and Nursery care
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital setting
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor & Delivery environment
