Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Virginia or a compact state license accepted for practice in Virginia
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry or comparable acute care setting
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or telemetry environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems used in acute care settings
• Experience in a hospital offering a broad range of specialty services including cardiac care
