Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care unit serving a busy, fast-paced CV service line
• Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced mechanical circulatory support devices including ECMO, Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD)
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes across a full spectrum of cardiovascular conditions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas or compact license eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Hands-on experience with ECMO, Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, and/or VAD support
• Prior experience in a cardiovascular or cardiothoracic ICU setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing the full range of complex cardiovascular conditions outside of transplant care
• Comfort working in a high-volume, high-acuity critical care environment
• Strong critical thinking and hemodynamic monitoring skills
