Contract | Mids (4x10-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients throughout a designated shift, prescribing nursing care consistent with the medical plan of care
• Collaborates with physicians and other members of the health care team to coordinate patient care delivery across all age groups, including neonatal through geriatric
• Incorporates patient and family teaching as well as discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegates aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice
• Documents and manages patient care using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• PALS certification required within 1 year of hire
• IV Sedation competency required within 6 months of hire
• EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
