Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN patient ratio guidelines
• Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) care including couplet care
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret findings in accordance with intermediate or advanced competency standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team within a Joint Commission Accredited acute care facility using GE Centricity/Paragon EHR
• Flex to task or secretary roles as needed based on unit census and staffing rotation
• Participate in weekend staffing rotation (approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Fetal Monitoring certification required – must have completed intermediate level at minimum; advanced level accepted if current
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with couplet care and LDRP settings
• Some NICU experience
• Familiarity with GE Centricity or Paragon EHR systems
