Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications in accordance with provider orders
• Perform clinical procedures including dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV placement
• Adjust and operate specialized medical equipment; interpret and document measurements accurately
• Monitor patient vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma RN license or valid compact state license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification — required
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Skills checklist current within the past year, pertinent to Medical Surgical specialty
• Two supervisory references obtained within the last two years
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with regional referral center or high-volume Medical Surgical environments
