Intellectual Property Trademark Paralegal

Our client, an Am Law Firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Trademark Paralegal supporting their Trademark, Copyright & Branding Practice Group. This position is available in select Midwest and Southwest markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international trademark portfolios for a diverse client base.
\n
• Prepare, file, and maintain U.S. and foreign trademark applications, renewals, assignments, and related prosecution documents.
\n
• Conduct trademark searches, monitor deadlines, and maintain docket accuracy.
\n
• Handle USPTO, WIPO, TTAB, and Copyright Office filings and correspondence.
\n
• Coordinate with foreign associates on international filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement matters.
\n
• Support copyright registrations, domain name management, ownership transfers, and IP due diligence projects.
\n
• Prepare status reports and communicate regularly with attorneys, clients, and foreign counsel regarding portfolio activity and deadlines.
\n
• Assist with trademark enforcement matters, watch notices, adverse proceedings, and special IP projects.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 5+ years of trademark paralegal experience supporting large domestic and international portfolios.
\n
• Strong knowledge of USPTO, WIPO, TTAB, and international trademark procedures.
\n
• Experience with trademark docketing systems and deadline management.
\n
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
\n
• Paralegal certificate required.
\n
• Bachelors degree preferred.
\n
